Below you’ll find an outline of our wedding weekend events. From welcome cocktails to poolside farewells, each gathering is designed to slow things down, bring everyone together, and make memories we’ll never forget.

Welcome to Portugal!
Join us for welcome drinks and light bites as we kick off our wedding weekend together. Enjoy sunset views over the Douro River, good music, and a relaxed evening to mingle before the big day.
Attire: Cocktail Chic
Think elevated summer evening. Dresses, jumpsuits, heels or dressy flats for ladies; dress shirts, slacks, loafers for gentlemen. Jackets optional.
Transportation: Uber (or Bolt) and taxis are widely available in Porto and are the easiest way to get to and from the venue. More transportation details will be shared closer to the date.
WEDDING DAY
When: Friday, August 7, 2026
Guest arrival: 4:45 PM
Ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 PM
Cocktails, dinner, and dancing to follow
Attire: Black tie
Tuxedos or formal dark suits are requested for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or elegant formalwear for ladies. For visual inspiration, please see the Dress Code section in our Q&A.
Transportation: If you arrive at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport by plane, you can rent a car, take an Uber, or use public transit to reach the venue — approximately 20 km away (approximately 12 miles (or 20-25 minute drive). If you plan to book a car, we recommend doing so in advance.
